Institute of Physiologically Active Compounds of Russian Academy of Sciences (IPAC RAS) was established by the decree of CC of CPSU and Minister Soviet of USSR No.389-129 of May/29/1978 and by decree of the Presidium of Academy of Sciences of USSR No.933 of September/14/1978.
IPAC RAS among other scientific institutes is the main structural unit of Russian Academy of Sciences and is the part of Division of General and Technical Chemistry of RAS.
